Hot Therapy (Infrared Sauna)
Uses infrared light waves to generate heat within the body, resulting in a deep muscle healing, relaxing, detoxifying experience.
Unlike traditional saunas which use extremely high heat temperatures (80 to 90 degrees Celsius), Infrared saunas use milder environmental temperatures (35 to 60 degrees Celsius) with no humidity involved.
Reform’s industry-leading Sunlighten infrared sauna uses the therapeutic energy of far infrared waves to penetrate the body’s tissues at a cellular level, which supports a wide range of wellness goals.

Cold Therapy (Ice Bath)
Is an effective way to speed up recovery, reduce inflammation, lift your mood and bolster the strength of your immune system.
Ice baths are a form of cryotherapy that involve sitting in cold water (10 to 15 degrees Celsius), ideally up to your chest, for 10 to 15 minutes.
When you sit in cold water, your blood vessels constrict, then when you get out, they dilate and open back up again. This process helps flush out toxins and metabolic waste post-workout and accelerate blood flow for rapid recovery.
Ice bath therapy also helps your body regulate the stress hormone, cortisol, which can help alleviate the effects of sleep disorders and depression.

Contrast Therapy (Infrared Sauna + Ice Bath)
Is the practice of exposing parts of the body to hot and cold temperatures to reduce inflammation, enhance recovery, improve circulation and provide an overall sense of wellbeing.
Contrast therapy works on the concept of vasodilation which occurs during heat, and vasoconstriction which occurs in the cold. By alternating the blood flow, this can produce a wide range of health benefits.
The process involves alternating between our state of the art infrared sauna and chilled water ice bath for periods of up to 15 minutes. This process is typically repeated 2-3 times for maximum effect.

How do I get started?
Treatment starts in a few easy steps
At Reform, your safety is our priority and like all procedures and treatments, hot+cold therapy does carry risks for certain people.
Before your initial treatment, we advise that you receive clearance from your medical practitioner to ensure you are an appropriate candidate for this therapy.
A hot+cold therapy can take as little as 15 minutes or up to 30 minutes. All of our treatments can be booked online at your convenience.
