Get To Know Kate:
Why live an ordinary life when you can live an extraordinary one with great health!
Kate certainly knows what it’s like to face challenges when pursuing a dream.
In 2000 while watching the Sydney Olympic women’s marathon, the hair stood up on the back of her neck. Up until that point she had enjoyed social running but had no idea what it took to be an elite athlete.
Fast forward exactly 8 years, 50,000 kilometers, and 10,000 hours of training, she ran into an Olympic stadium in the 2008 Beijing Olympic games for Australia.
Kate believes there isn’t just one way to health. Her mission is to educate and empower female athletes to restore optimal health and in doing so reach lifetime goals.
Kate developed her passion for natural health founded on the back of her desire to help other athletes overcome many of the same health issues she faced during her sporting career such as nutrient deficiencies, anaemia, fatigue, hormonal disruption, and poor gut health.
She is passionate about providing realistic, practical, and effective guidance that gets results through private consultations and programs (including Flat to Fast Anaemia Recovery and Female Sports Performance Mentoring).
Kate has completed three university degrees including a Masters and a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). Her thirst for knowledge has led her to undertaking further qualifications in nutrition. She has also undertaken additional training in thyroid health, sports nutrition, digestive health and female athlete hormones…. just in case you are wondering. She has been mentored by leading integrated GP’s, global leaders in naturopathy and nutritionists.
Kate is an accredited coach with Athletics Australia and works with some of Australia’s best athletes across various sporting disciplines.
